Suspend 65.1 gms. in 1000 ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Cool to 70°C and add 2 ml of a sterile 1% Potassium Tellurite Solution and 5 ml of sterile defibrinated blood. Maintain at 70°C for a few minutes. Cool to 50°C and pour plates. |
