Directions 

Suspend 42.5 gms. of B665 in 1000ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121° C) for 15 minutes. For the preparation of blood agar add 5% v/v sterile defibrinated blood to the sterile molten medium, cooled to 45° C. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.
