Suspend 18.5 gms. in 470ml. distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50°C and aseptically add 25 ml sterile, lysed horse blood and reconstituted contents of 1 vial of Campylobacter Selective Supplement IV (Preston BF033). Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates. |
