Final pH (at 25°C) : 5.5 + 0.2 5.4 ± 0.2

Directions 

Suspend 69.7 gms. of B653 in 1000ml. distilled water containing 1.32ml. glacial acetic acid. Heat with frequent stirring. Boil for 1-2 minutes to dissolve the medium completely. DO NOT AUTO CLAVE. If storage is necessary, autoclave at 12 lbs pressure (118°C) for 15 minutes.
