Suspend 55.37 gm. in 1000ml. distilled water. Heat to boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. AVOID OVERHEATING. Cool to 40-50 c and pour into sterile petri plates. Surface of medium should be dry when inoculated. |
